Personal Injury Lawyers in Texas
In 2018, a total of 121 helicopter accidents occurred throughout the nation. The year before, 123 helicopter accidents occurred, leaving pilots and other passengers injured. Recent studies reveal that flying in a helicopter is 27 times more dangerous than driving a motor vehicle. Therefore, it’s important for pilots and passengers to make sure the helicopter is intact and full of fuel before taking off. Sometimes mechanical errors occur, which cause pilots to lose control of the helicopter and end up crashing. Sometimes the design of the helicopter can cause operating issues and result in accidents, which is considered product liability. There are also times where hazardous weather is a contributing factor.
Because there are a number of reasons why a helicopter could crash, it’s important for injured victims to seek legal assistance from a personal injury lawyer.
