Motorcycle Accidents in Texas
In 2016, about 14 motorcyclists lost their lives every day on U.S. roads. Most motorcycle accidents are caused by negligence, especially since motorcycles are smaller and less visible than other vehicles. All it takes is a few seconds of distracted driving for a fatal motorcycle accident to occur.
Some examples of negligent driving include using a cell phone, driving under the influence, driving fatigued, eating, grooming, and more. When drivers think they can multi-task, they almost always cause accidents that could have been avoided. Families who lose loved ones because of negligence can file wrongful death lawsuits for compensation to cover damages.
At The Benton Law Firm, we are committed to protecting the rights of our clients, which is why we specialize in wrongful death lawsuits. We have spent nearly 20 years making sure families don’t become financially liable for the negligent actions of other drivers. If you lost a loved one in a motorcycle accident and would like to file a wrongful death lawsuit, call us today at (214) 219-4878.
