Jim Wells County, TX – 2 Injured In Vehicle Collision On Hwy 624

Jim Wells County, TX (January 25, 2020) On the evening of January 24th, a vehicle collision happened on Highway 624 and County Road 305. According to reports, a Chevy pickup truck was headed north on the county road when it drove through a stop sign without stopping. As a result, an oncoming Dodge Journey struck the Chevy.

A medical helicopter transported the driver of the Dodge to Christus Spohn Shoreline for treatment. Paramedics also transported an injured passenger from the Chevy to a nearby hospital for treatment via ambulance.

The accident is currently under investigation.
