Pedestrian Accidents in Texas
Nearly one million hit-and-run accidents occur annually throughout the country and more than half of them involve pedestrians. Most hit-and-run accidents that happen between the hours of midnight and 6:00 a.m. result from drunk driving. When drunk drivers are on the road, they are not fully coherent, making it nearly impossible for them to pay attention to their surroundings and abide by traffic laws. Therefore, they should be held 100 percent financially liable for all of the damages and losses they cause.
