Motorcycle Accidents in Texas
In 2013, nearly 88,000 people sustained injuries in motorcycle accidents. Most accidents are caused by some form of negligence, such as driver’s inattention, speed, intoxication, and recklessness. Because motorcycles are smaller than other vehicles, drivers often don’t see them in their blind spots. When drivers fail to check their surroundings, it’s more common for them to accidentally strike motorcyclists.
