Pedestrian Accidents in Texas

Grand Prairie, TX – Man Hit And Killed By Vehicle On W. Main St

Studies show that the number of pedestrian fatalities caused by SUVs has increased by 50 percent since 2013. Most drivers hit pedestrians when they are speeding, driving while fatigued, and driving under the influence. Because SUVs are larger than passenger vehicles, pedestrians are less likely to survive their injuries after being hit.

If a driver is a fault for striking and killing a pedestrian, the victim’s immediately family members qualify to file a wrongful death lawsuit against the driver.
