Injuries Reported in Collision on FM 1600

Cameron, TX (January 28, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident in Cameron on Monday left two people injured.

On January 27, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle collision on Farm to Market Road 1600. Reports indicate that a 25-year-old driver was traveling south in a Case Farm tractor when their vehicle was rear-ended by a semi-truck.

The incident caused the tractor to roll over, ejecting the driver in the process.

The driver of the tractor was seriously injured and rushed to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Temple for treatment.

The driver of the semi-truck incurred minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time.
