Qiaolian Chen Killed in Bicycle Crash on New Trails Drive
Woodlands, TX (January 28, 2020) – A bicyclist sadly lost his life in a collision on Friday.
Just before 3 p.m., on January 24, the Woodlands Fire and MCHD Medics rushed to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on New Trails Drive. Reports indicate that 68-year-old Qiaolian Chen was riding a bicycle along the road, near Technology Forest Boulevard, when she was struck by a 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer.
Chen incurred fatal injuries and was immediately declared deceased at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation with the Texas Department of Public Safety.
