Dane Yates seriously injured in Orange County accident

Orange County, TX. (February 18, 2020)- 47-year-old Dane Yates of Port Author was seriously injured in a car crash in Orange County. The accident occurred around 5:30 a.m. on FM 1006. A 2005 Honda was traveling westbound, when the driver lost control and skid into oncoming traffic. The Honda collided with Yates’ 2000 Ford SUV. Yates was transported to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont Hospital. The DPS is investigating the accident.
