Two injured after I-35 crash north of Laredo
Laredo,TX. (February 19, 2020)- Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Sunday February 16, on Interstate 35, north of Laredo. The crash occured around 5:35 p.m. on mile marker 29 of the southbound lane. An 18-wheeler and a 2019 Kia Optima were traveling south, when the Optima failed to control speed and rear-ended the 18- wheeler. After impact, the Optima continued onto the protected median, causing it to strike the center cable poles. The Optima’s driver and passenger were taken to the local hospital for treatment.
