Irie Suarez Killed by Car While Riding a Bike in San Antonio

San Antonio, TX (February 20, 2020)- Irie Suarez was hit and killed by a car on Thursday morning while riding her bike.  The accident occurred around 7:30 a.m. on Ranch View East and Remrock Valley in West Bexar County.  Deputies reported that the Suarez was riding her bike on the sidewalk when she lost control and veered into oncoming traffic. Suarez was struck by a passing SUV. EMS transported her to University Hospital, where later she was pronounced dead.  At this time no charges have been filed.  An investigation is in progress.
