Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accidents in Texas
Unfortunately, nearly one million hit-and-run accidents take place annually in the United States, and about half of them involve pedestrians. When drivers strike pedestrians late at night and flee the scene, the cause is usually drunk driving or another form of negligence. Drivers that flee the scene of an accident are subject to harsher criminal charges and fines.
Families who lose their children in pedestrian accidents have the right to file wrongful death lawsuits against liable drivers.
At The Benton Law Firm, when our wrongful death attorneys commit to a case, they do everything within their power to help families prove negligence and win full and fair settlements. For nearly two decades, thousands of families have won their wrongful death lawsuits thanks to the help of our attorneys. Contact our office today for a free consultation at (214) 777-7777 if your child was harmed in a pedestrian accident.
