Three Injured in Tanker Truck Crash on US 31 at FM 2311 in Axtell
Axtell, TX. (March 12, 2020)- Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on March 11, 2020 in Axtell, Texas. The crash occurred at about 7 a.m. at the Highway 31 and FM 2311 (Heritage Parkway). The DPS reported that the tanker truck was traveling northbound on Highway 31 while a Dodge passenger vehicle was traveling westbound on FM 2311. The driver of the Dodge failed to yield the right of way at the stop sign and pulled into the path of the truck. The two vehicles collided causing the truck to roll over. Both drivers and a passenger in the Dodge were transported to Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest in Waco for treatment. Police continue to investigate the crash.
