Cynthia Browne Murray Killed, Rucker Steven Murray Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 300 in Gregg County
Gregg County, TX. (March 23, 2020)- 66-year-old Cynthia Browne Murray was killed, and 65-year-old Rucker Steven Murray was injured in a two-vehicle crash on March 20, 2020 in Gregg County, Texas. The accident occurred at around 7:30 a.m. on State Highway 300, 8.8 miles southeast of Longview. Officials reported that a 2004 Dodge Ram was traveling north on SH-300 too fast for road conditions. The Dodge traveled into the southbound lane where it struck the victim’s 2020 Buick Enclave. Cynthia Browne Murray was pronounced dead at the scene. Rucker Steven Murray was transported to Longview Regional in serious condition. The crash remains under investigation.
