One Killed, 2 Injured in a Head-On crash at Dundee Road and Pine Tree Road in Longview

Longview, TX. (March 23, 2020)- One person was killed, and two others were injured in a head-on collision on March 22, 2020 in Longview, Texas. The crash occurred at around 1:50 a.m. in the 2900 block of Dundee Road and Pine Tree Road. Police reported that a Chevrolet Impala was speeding westbound in the eastbound lane when it collided head-on with a Kia Amanti. A front-seat passenger in the Impala was killed in the accident. The Impala driver was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Kia was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
