43-Year-Old Christopher Hayslet Killed, One Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Walzem Road and Intestate 35 North in San Antonio

San Antonio, TX. (April 17, 2020)- Christopher Hayslet was killed, and another person was injured in a two-vehicle crash on April 16, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. The accident occurred around 7:00 a.m. at the Walzem Road and Interstate 35 North intersection. Police reported that Hayslet was traveling eastbound on Walzem Road when it struck an SUV that was traveling southbound on the access road. Witnesses reported that the SUV may have ran a red light at the time of the collision. A passenger in Hayslet’s vehicle was transported to Brooke Army Medical Center in critical condition. The driver of the SUV was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Police continue to investigate the crash.
