Five Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 6 and FM 2 near Navasota
Navasota, TX. (April 22, 2020)- Five people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on April 19, 2020 just south of Navasota, Texas. The crash occurred around 4:30 p.m. in the area of Highway 6 and FM 2. Officials reported that a Chevrolet 350 pickup truck was crossing the highway when a Chevrolet Tahoe struck it. Four passengers in the Tahoe were transported to Bryan and College Station hospitals. The driver of the Tahoe was airlifted to CHI ST. Joseph Health Regional Hospital. A passenger in the pickup truck sustained minor injuries. The driver of the pickup truck was uninjured and was cited for failure to yield the right of way and failure to maintain financial responsibility. The crash remains under investigation.
