Worker Injured in Construction Accident near Stone Canyon Road and Meadow Road in Dallas

Dallas, TX. (May 4, 2020)- A construction worker was injured in a ditch on May 1, 2020 in Dallas, Texas. The incident occurred around 1:00 p.m. near the intersection of Stone Canyon Road and Meadow Road. Officials reported that the worker was doing unspecified work in a 16 feet deep ditch when the walls collapsed and they were trapped from the waist up. Responding emergency crews were able to lift the worker out of the ditch. The worker was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries. The incident remains under investigation.
