Family of Three Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Little York Road Overpass at North Freeway in Houston
Houston, TX. (May 26, 2020)- Hedley Rivera, his wife Jessica, and their one-year-old son Darwin were seriously injured in a multi-vehicle crash on May 21, 2020 in Houston, Texas. The accident occurred around 10:30 p.m. in the northbound lanes of the Little York Road overpass at North Freeway. Police reported that two vehicles were racing on North Freeway, weaving in and out of traffic, when they caused Rivera’s truck to collide with two other vehicles. The impact caused the truck to fly off the overpass, and one of the other vehicles to catch on fire. The two racing vehicles fled the scene of the crash. Hedley, Jessica and Darwin were all transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital with injuries. No other injuries were reported. Police continue to search for the street racers.
Our thoughts are with the Rivera family at this time. We wish them a full and speedy recovery.
