30-Year-Old Matthew Clamon Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on U.S Highway 190 in Polk County

Polk County, TX. (June 5, 2020)- Matthew Clamon was injured in a three-vehicle crash on June 3, 2020 in Polk County, Texas. The accident occurred just before 11:00 a.m. on U.S. Highway 190, near the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Reservation. Troopers reported that the driver of a tow truck was traveling westbound when they clipped the trailer of an eastbound 18-wheeler. The tow truck driver then crashed head-on into a large commercial truck that was stopped on the eastbound shoulder of the highway. The tow truck and commercial truck both caught on fire. Matthew Clamon was the driver of the stopped commercial truck. Clamon and the driver of the tow truck were able to climb out of their vehicles. They both were transported to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital for treatment. The driver of the 18-wheeler was uninjured in the crash. The driver of the tow truck faces charges of driving on the wrong side of the road while not passing. The crash remains under investigation.

We wish Matthew Clamon a complete recovery. Our thoughts are with him and his family at this time.
