One Killed, One Seriously Injured in Pedestrian Crash on Canada Drive in Dallas
Dallas, TX. (June 17, 2020)- One person was killed, and another was seriously injured by a vehicle on June 13, 2020 in Dallas, Texas. The crash occurred around 3:30 a.m. in the 3500 block of Canada Drive. Police reported that one of the victims was assisting the other victim in getting into a minivan that was parked along the curb of the roadway. The driver of an oncoming Ford F-150 then struck both the victims and the minivan for unknown reasons. Both pedestrians were transported to an area hospital with critical injuries. One of the pedestrians succumbed to their injuries and the other remains in critical condition. The driver of the F-150 fled the scene, but was later located. The driver was arrested and faces charges of accident involving death and accident involving serious bodily injury. The crash remains under investigation.
