19-Year-Old Evan James Kriese Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on Texas 114 and FM 156 in Fort Worth

Fort Worth, TX. (July 14, 2020)- Evan James Kriese was killed in a two-vehicle crash on May 26, 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas. The crash occurred just after 9:00 p.m. at the Texas 114 and FM 156 intersection. Police reported that the driver of a red pickup truck drove around another vehicle as the lanes expanded from two to three. The driver then struck a grey vehicle driven by Kriese. Kriese was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck and their passenger were transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries. The driver was accused of reckless driving and causing the death of a motorist. The driver faces a manslaughter charge and has been booked into a Fort Worth jail. The crash remains under investigation.
