Panola County, TX. (August 18, 2020)- One driver was killed in a two-vehicle crash on August 14, 2020 in Panola County, Texas. The crash occurred around 6:00 p.m. at the Highway 79 North and FM 123 intersection. Police reported that an 18-wheeler and small pickup truck collided for unknown reasons. The impact caused the pickup truck to catch on fire. The driver of the pickup truck was declared dead at the scene. The driver of the 18-wheeler was uninjured in the crash.
