Two Killed in DUI Crash on 2 Mile Line Road and Shary Road in Mission
Mission, TX. (August 20, 2020)- Two people were killed in a two-vehicle crash on August 16, 2020 in Mission, Texas. The crash occurred on Sunday night, at the on 2 Mile Line Road and Shary Road intersection. Police reported that the driver of a Toyota was traveling at a high rate of speed when they crashed into a Chevrolet. The driver of the Chevrolet was declared dead at the scene. A passenger of the Toyota was transported to an area hospital where they succumbed to their injuries. The driver of the Toyota was transported to Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg for treatment. The Toyota driver has been charged with two counts of intoxication manslaughter. The crash remains under investigation.
