61-Year-Old Randall Lewis Killed in Scooter Crash on Highway 80 in Big Spring
Big Spring, TX. (August 25, 2020)- Randall Lewis was fatally struck in an auto-pedestrian crash on August 18, 2020 in Big Spring, Texas. The accident occurred just before 7:40 p.m. in the 3100 block of Highway 80. Police reported that Randall was riding a motorized scooter when he was struck by an unknown vehicle. Randall was transported to Scenic Mountain Medical Center and later to UMC in Lubbock where he succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene, but later turned himself in. The driver was arrested and charged with manslaughter. The crash remains under investigation.
