One Killed, Off-Duty Police Officer Seriously Injured in Bicycle Crash on Dottie Lynn Parkway in Fort Worth
Fort Worth, TX. (August 31, 2020)- One person was killed, and an off-duty Arlington police officer was seriously injured in an auto-pedestrian crash on August 28, 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas. The crash occurred around 6:30 a.m. on the Dottie Lynn Parkway Bridge over West Division Street. Police reported that four bicyclists were struck from behind while riding on the bridge. One victim was declared dead at the scene. The police officer was transported to an area hospital in serious condition. Two others sustained minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
