40-Year-Old James Dayton Jones Killed, Several Injured in Greyhound Bus Crash on U.S. 277 and U.S. 183 in Baylor County
Baylor County, TX. (September 22, 2020)- James Dayton Jones was killed, and several others were injured in a two-vehicle crash on September 14, 2020 in Baylor County, Texas. The accident occurred Monday at the U.S. 277 and U.S. 183 intersection. DPS reported that a Greyhound bus and pickup truck collided at the intersection for unknown reasons. Jones was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck and several bus passengers were transported to the hospital with serious injuries. No further details have been provided at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
