65-Year-Old Baltej Singh Injured in Wrong-Way Crash on Interstate 45 at the Downtown Aquarium in Houston
Houston, TX. (September 23, 2020)- Baltej Singh was injured in a two-vehicle crash on September 18, 2020 in Houston, Texas. The accident occurred Friday morning on Interstate 45 at the Downtown Aquarium parking lot. Police reported that a diver was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes when they crashed head-on into an 18-wheeler driven by Singh. The impact caused the 18-wheeler to fall about 50 feet off the overpass and onto the aquarium parking lot. Singh was transported to an area hospital with fractured ribs. The wrong-way driver was transported to the hospital with a broken leg and faces a DWI charge. No further details have been provided. The crash remains under investigation.
