One Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on Eastex Freeway (U.S. 59) in Houston
Houston, TX. (May 28, 2021)- One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash on May 23, 2021 in Houston, Texas. The accident occurred around 10:45 a.m. in the 22200 block of the Eastex Freeway (U.S. 59) service road. Police reported that a southbound Toyota Tundra attempted to change lanes and stuck a Chevrolet Impala to its left. The Tundra then struck a sign and a concrete pillar. A passenger of the Tundra was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported. The crash remains under investigation.
