Laurie Beth Seehusen Killed in Head-On Crash on FM 1131 near Barnhill Road in Orange County
Orange County, TX. (July 16, 2021)- 58-year-old Laurie Beth Seehusen was killed in a two-vehicle crash on July 15, 2021 in Orange County, Texas. The accident occurred around 4:30 p.m. on FM 1131 near Barnhill Road, north of Vidor. Police reported that the driver of a stolen pickup truck was being pursued by deputies when they crashed head-on into another vehicle driven by Seehusen. Both vehicles ended up in a ditch along the highway. Seehusen was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the stolen pickup truck was arrested on multiple charges. No further details have been provided at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
