SAN ANTONIO, TX – A man died last Monday when a vehicle struck him along the interstate in southwest San Antonio, reports KSAT 12. 

 

The accident happened around 6 a.m. on the access road for I-410 near Hunters Pond, which is just south of Palo Alto College.

 

Police say that a female driver of an SUV did not see the pedestrian in the access road and struck him. 

 

The pedestrian, identified as 41-year-old Michael James McMunn, died at the scene of the crash.

 

The driver involved in the accident did stop to render aid and speak with authorities. No charges have been announced thus far.

 

A full investigation is underway.
