3-vehicle collision on Hwy 155 in SW Flint kills 1

FLINT, TX – A multi-vehicle crash along the highway in southwest Smith County late last month claimed one life, reports Tyler Morning Telegraph.

The accident happened shortly before 6:30 p.m. on Friday, December 27, in the area of 21000 TX-155, which is just northwest of Salina Bay. This is about 16 miles southwest of Tyler.

Police haven’t shared any details regarding the circumstances of the wreck except to say that three vehicles were involved and that one person died.

Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity, and no other injuries have been reported in connection to the crash.

Officials closed one lane of TX-155 for over two hours while officials responded to the scene.

A full investigation is underway.
