2 injured, 2 killed in solo-car crash in Fort Worth
FORT WORTH, TX – Two were injured, and two were killed after a red Camaro became airborne and struck a power pole transformer Sunday.
The collision occurred around 11 p.m. in the area of University Drive and White Settlement Road, according to WFAA.
The driver and passengers of the red Camaro were involved in a “street takeover” incident prior and fled the scene upon seeing a police vehicle.
After the Camaro crashed into the transformer, the car caught on fire, and the vehicle overturned.
The impact of the collision claimed the driver and front passenger’s lives and injured the two other passengers.
