2 seriously hurt in 2-car crash at SH-198 and Cherokee Shores
EUSTACE, TX – Two people went to the hospital with serious injuries after a collision Thursday involving two vehicles in Eustace, reports KETK Fox 51.
The incident happened on Thursday night in the area of SH 198 and Cherokee Shores Drive, which is just west of Lighthouse Baptist Church.
The cause of the collision is still unclear. Police say that two vehicles veered off road during or after the crash and that one of the vehicles overturned.
The driver of one of the vehicles fled the scene. The two occupants from the other car became entrapped in their vehicle and required extrication.
Both victims suffered critical injuries. We will report back if we learn more about their prognoses.
