Vehicle strikes, kills teen on bike at Independence and George Washington
FRISCO, TX – A teenager died Wednesday morning in Frisco after being struck by a vehicle while crossing an intersection on his bicycle, reports Fox 4 News.
The incident happened early in the morning before school at the intersection of Independence Parkway and George Washington Drive, which is between Westridge Boulevard and Eldorado Parkway.
The investigation thus far indicates that the 15-year-old was crossing Independence Parkway on his way to Frisco Heritage High School when a vehicle hit him. The 1oth grader died from injuries sustained in the accident.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
A full investigation is underway.
