Train strikes, injures pedestrian near East Balancing Reservoir in Kennedale
KENNEDALE, TX – Medics airlifted a pedestrian to the hospital on Saturday morning in Kennedale after a train struck them near the East Balancing Reservoir, reports WFAA News 8.
The incident happened at 6 a.m. near the intersection of Hudson Cemetery Road and Eden Road South, which is southeast of Kennedale Speedway Park and west of Tierra Verde Golf Club.
Police haven’t yet shared any details about the cause of the accident. They say the victim was in stable condition at the time of transport.
It’s unclear if the crash caused the train to derail. No other injuries have been mentioned in connection to the incident.
