Police investigate injury crash on Hwy 342 near Red Oak in Lancaster
LANCASTER, TX – Emergency teams responded to a serious crash with likely injuries along the highway in Lancaster Saturday afternoon, reports DFW Scanner.

The incident happened sometime before 2:05 p.m. on Highway 342 between South Lancaster Hutchins Road and Old Red Oak Road, which is west of Ten Mile Creek Preserve and east of Bear Creek Nature Park.
It’s not yet clear what caused the accident or how many vehicles were involved in the collision. Medics initially requested an air ambulance for at least one victim but cancelled the request due to urgency.
Officials closed all lanes of the highway and warned of significant delays Saturday afternoon while crews worked at the scene.
