2-vehicle ejection crash at FM 2493 near Toll 49 kills 1
TYLER, TX – A two-vehicle crash involving ejection killed one person and hurt another on Friday night in Tyler, reports KETK.
The incident happened in the evening on Old Jacksonville Highway, or FM 2493, near Toll 49. This is in the southwest outskirts of the city.
Police haven’t disclosed the cause of the collision, but they say it involved a Jeep and an SUV.
The force of the collision threw the driver of the Jeep from the vehicle, and they died at the scene. Authorities have not yet released their name to the public.
Medics transported the driver of the SUV to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
