Crews respond to rollover involving police cruiser on I-635 at MacArthur
IRVING, TX – Officials warned of delays after a rush hour accident along the interstate in north-central Irving on Monday evening, reports DFW Scanner.
The accident happened sometime before 5:41 p.m. along I-635 at North MacArthur Boulevard, which is just south of Swadeshi Plaza and north of MacArthur Park.
Authorities haven’t yet disclosed the cause of the crash, which they say involved an Irving Police Officer. Photos taken at the scene show an overturned police cruiser in the intersection.
It’s not yet clear if other vehicles were involved or if anyone sustained injuries.
Police asked motorists to avoid this intersection while emergency teams responded to the crash and worked to clear the wreckage.
