1 hospitalized, 1 charged in 2-vehicle crash at N Hall St and Thomas Ave
DALLAS, TX – One person went to the hospital, and another was taken into custody after a two-vehicle collision near Griggs Park in Dallas on Saturday.
According to NBC DFW 5, the incident happened around 3 a.m. at the intersection of North Hall Street and Thomas Avenue, which is just west of US-75 in the Uptown area.
Police say they had attempted to stop one of the vehicles involved in the crash about 45 minutes earlier but that the 19-year-old driver had evaded officers.
It’s not clear what caused the crash, but officials say both cars were found on the intersection median at Hall and Thomas.
Medics transported the driver of a Toyota Corolla to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
The other driver, identified as Trent Aslin, was arrested on charges of DUI and evading arrest.
The investigation is ongoing.
