1 hurt in auto vs. semi-truck crash on Dottie Lynn Pkwy
FORT WORTH, TX – One person suffered serious injuries Tuesday in a collision involving a car and an 18-wheeler in Fort Worth, reports KRLD 1080.
The incident happened sometime before 9:45 p.m. Tuesday night on the northbound side of Dottie Lynn Parkway near West Division Street, which is just northwest of Shady Valley Club.
Police say a vehicle overturned after crashing into the rear of a parked 18-wheeler on Dottie Lynn. The driver of the passenger vehicle then became trapped inside their vehicle. Medics worked to extricate that victim before transporting them to a local hospital.
The victim’s condition is unknown at this time, though emergency crews reported serious injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
