2 hospitalized in major crash on US-69NB near Tyler
SMITH CO., TX – Two people went to the hospital on Thursday after a two-vehicle collision along the highway just south of Tyler, reports KLTV 7.
The incident happened sometime before 12:45 p.m. on the northbound side of US-69 near Flint, Whitehouse, Bullard, and Tyler.
The investigation thus far indicates that a northbound pickup truck collided with a vehicle that was stopped in the roadway after a previous crash.
Two people sustained non-critical injuries.
Officials closed the northbound lanes of the highway in the vicinity of the crash while crews worked to clear the scene.
A full investigation is underway.
