2 hurt when truck crashes, falls from overpass in Lake Worth
LAKE WORTH, TX – Two people were hospitalized Sunday after their truck crashed along the highway and fell from an overpass, reports WFAA 8.
The incident happened early Sunday morning on SH-199 at Interstate 820, which is just northwest of Marion Sansom Park.
Police say a truck fell from the I-820 overpass after the driver lost control of the vehicle. The truck landed upside down on SH-199.
Two people required extrication from the truck; medics took them to a local hospital with serious injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
