2-vehicle crash involving semi kills 1 near DFW International Airport
DALLAS, TX – A driver died Thursday afternoon in Dallas after colliding with an 18-wheeler on the north side of the airport, reports DFW Scanner.
The accident happened around 3:45 p.m. on the northbound side of International Parkway just past the north toll exit at DFW International Airport.
The investigation so far indicates that the victim lost control of their vehicle, left the roadway, and crashed into a semi-truck in a nearby parking lot. The driver died at the scene from injuries sustained in the accident. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity to the public.
It’s unclear if the truck driver was in the semi at the time of the accident.
Police speculate that the victim may have experienced a medical episode prior to losing control of their vehicle.
The investigation is ongoing.
