2-vehicle crash kills 1 at NE Loop 820 and Mark IV Pkwy
FORT WORTH, TX – A woman died on Sunday in Fort Worth after a vehicle struck her car on the freeway, causing the car to hit her, reports DFW Scanner.
The incident happened at 12:33 a.m. on Northeast Loop 820 and Mark IV Parkway, which is just west of I-35W.
Police say the woman crashed her car on the eastbound side of Loop 820, at which point she exited her vehicle. A second vehicle then crashed into her car, causing it to strike the woman.
The victim died at the scene of the accident. Police have not yet released her identity.
A full investigation is underway.
