2-vehicle crash kills 1 on Spur 408 SB near Kiest Blvd

DALLAS, TX – One person died at the scene of a two-car crash involving a pickup truck and a sedan in southwest Dallas on Friday night, reports Irving Weekly.

The incident happened around 6 p.m. on the southbound side of Spur 408 near West Kiest Boulevard, which is just east of Dallas Baptist University.

The investigation thus far indicates that a southbound pickup truck rear-ended a sedan that was parked along the shoulder of Spur 408.

A passenger in the sedan died from injuries sustained in the collision.

Police arrested the driver of the pickup truck following the accident. It’s still unclear what charges the man will face.

A full investigation is underway.
