2-vehicle crash kills 2 at FM2661 and Hwy 31 in Smith Co.
TYLER, TX – Two people died on Tuesday in Tyler after two vehicles collided at a busy intersection near Lake Palestine, reports CBS 19.
The incident happened in the morning at the intersection of FM 2661 and Highway 31, which is just east of Chandler River Park.
Police have not yet shared many details about the accident except to confirm two fatalities. Authorities have not disclosed the names of the victims.
Officials closed FM 2661 while crews worked to investigate and clear the scene.
