2-vehicle crash near Sublett and Polo Club kills 33-year-old woman

ARLINGTON, TX – A 33-year-old woman died Tuesday morning after a two-vehicle collision along a busy roadway in southwest Arlington, reports DFW Scanner.

The incident happened around 10:27 a.m. in the area of 2300 West Sublett Road, which is just east of the intersection with Polo Club Drive.

The investigation indicates that the driver of a sedan struck a pickup truck while changing lanes on the eastbound side of Sublett Road. The force of the collision caused the unrestrained driver of the sedan to lose control of her vehicle, leave the roadway, and hit a tree.

The driver of the pickup truck did not sustain injuries.

Medics transported the driver of the sedan to a local hospital, where she died from injuries sustained in the accident. Authorities have not yet released her name to the public.

The investigation is ongoing.
