2-vehicle crash on FM 4 near Fall Creek Hwy kills 1, hurts 1
GRANBURY, TX – A 33-year-old man died, and a woman sustained injuries in a collision involving two vehicles along a major roadway in Granbury last Thursday.
According to DFW Scanner, the incident happened at 2:22 p.m. on the westbound side of FM 4 near Fall Creek Highway, which is near Acton.
The investigation indicates that an eastbound SUV attempted to pass an eastbound 18-wheeler by entering the westbound lane of FM 4 in a no-pass zone. The SUV then collided head on with a westbound pickup truck.
A male passenger from the SUV died at the scene of the accident. Authorities have not yet released his identity to the public.
Medics transported the 27-year-old driver of the SUV to the hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the pickup truck was not injured in the collision.
A full investigation is underway.
