2-vehicle crash with injuries on Stemmons Hwy SB concludes police chase
DALLAS, TX – Three minors went to the hospital Sunday after fleeing police and crashing along the Stemmons Freeway just west of downtown Dallas.
According to NBC DFW 5, the incident happened on the southbound exit ramp from the Stemmons Freeway to Continental Avenue. This is just east of the Trinity River and Trammell Crow Park.
The investigation indicates that a vehicle failed to stop for Haltom City Police and led them on a pursuit east into Dallas. The vehicle was then involved in a two-vehicle collision.
Medics transported all three occupants of the first vehicle to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
It’s not yet clear if anyone in the second vehicle sustained injuries.
Police say they initially attempted to stop the first vehicle for reckless driving in Haltom City.
The investigation is ongoing.
